Residents of the town of Komenda in the Central Region have expressed their anger and frustration at President Mahama's government after the launch of the new Komenda sugar factory has yielded zero jobs as promised six months after it was launched.
While many were hopeful the inauguration of the factory would bring about employment opportunities to the youth of the dormant town, the factory has remained closed since its launch, due to what authorities are calling a maintenance issue.
The factory is said to not have the adequate raw materials to get it up and running, which has left the people of Komenda quite unhappy, as the hope that came with the factory seems to be fading out.
