Prophet Temitope Joshua, General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, spoke out about his failed US presidential elections prophesy yet again, and this time says it was due to the prayers of thousands of American people.
Speaking at a special Sunday service at the Church's headquarters in Ikotun Egbe, Lagos, the famed Nigerian prophet sought to silence the criticisms he'd received due to his failure to accurately prophesy the US presidential election results.
Speaking on the importance of prayer, TB Joshua used the biblical story of Jonah, who's prophesy that the City of Nineveh would be destroyed, was overturned due to the prayers of the residents of that city.
“Thousands of people that heard my prophecy prayed to God, they fasted and prayed that God should change the prophecy. That a prophecy was disclosed and did not come to pass does not mean that it is not authentic,” said the prophet.
Prophet TB Joshua went a little further and added that, “They know my antecedent that what I say always come to pass. As a result, they went to God in prayer," therefore making his prophesy void.
