This pastor says Christianity and poverty do not go hand in hand

Head pastor of House of Miracle Ministries, Mr. Sampson Amoateng, has said that it isn't normal for a Christian to be poor.

This pastor says Christianity and poverty do not go hand in hand

Speaking in an interview with Joy News, Pastor Sampson Amoateng said that it's an anomaly to be Christian and yet be as poor as a church mouse. He went on to say that he encouraged his pastors to "disabuse" the minds of their church members about the common belief that money is evil.

“The bible says money answers all things. It is an error for a Christians to be as poor as a church rat”, said the pastor.

Speaking on the subject of prayer, the head pastor of House of Miracles Ministries - organizers of December to Remember event - said, “prayer is a necessary practice for the Christian. It is a way of admitting our needs, adopting humility and claiming total dependence on God.”
