Woyome case adjourned till December 1st

The Supreme Court has adjourned the case between former Attorney General (AG) Martin Amidu, and NDC financier, Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome for the sum of GHC51.2 million in state funds illegally paid to Mr. Woyome.

It seems like the highly anticipated oral examination "showdown" between former AG and Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome has been postponed pending the outcome of motion - filed by Mr. Woyome and his private practitioner - to reverse court ruling.

Mr. Alfred Agbesi's Woyome's lawyer launched a motion yesterday asking the court to reverse a previous supreme court ruling giving former Attorney General Amidu the green light to cross-examine Mr. Woyome in open court.
