NPP, NDC supporters in bloody clash in Northern Region

Supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have clashed at Tinangeria in the Wulensi Constituency of the Northern Region.

A report by starrfmonline.com said two people sustained cutlass wounds in the clash.

The report quoted an eyewitness as saying that the clash began when NDC supporters NPP supporters who were holding a rally in the village.

The witness said that the NDC supporters attacked the NDC counterparts with stones and cutlasses, resulting in injuries.

Reports say clashes between supporters of the two parties have increased with 12 days left before the elections.
