Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the largest opposition party, New Patriotic Party, has a message for Ghanaians, especially the victims of the DKM scandal; "I will pay you back in full when I become president"
But that's not all.
Nana Addo also assured that an NPP government, when in power, would investigate issues surrounding the tier-two pension funds and the DKM scandal.
According to him, it is befuddling that the Mahama government has failed to completely deal with the issues regarding the pensions over the years.
"I will investigate government's inability to pay the monies owned as well as investigate the DKM scandal and to ensure that there would be total restoration to all affected in both scandals", he said while speaking at an NPP mini-rally in the Brong Ahafo region.
The NPP flagbearer also reiterated that most of the promises he and the NPP have made during the campaign buildup are all thing that can be implemented.
He promised that an NPP government would work hard to lift Ghana from its current state to a whole a new level.
