Desperate times call for desperate measures and the National Democratic Congress' parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Delali Akwasi Brempong, may be taking up some desperate measures as the elections draw closer.

The University of Ghana campus was reportedly thrown agog on Saturday evening after Delali Brempong provided a truck-load of sachet water for students.

Though Delali Brempong, whose face and NDC logo are boldly printed on the sachets, has not revealed why he sent the "goodies" to the campus, it is widely speculated that this was done in a bid to win the votes of students.
