Desperate times call for desperate measures and the National Democratic Congress' parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Delali Akwasi Brempong, may be taking up some desperate measures as the elections draw closer.
The University of Ghana campus was reportedly thrown agog on Saturday evening after Delali Brempong provided a truck-load of sachet water for students.
The heavily loaded truck stopped at the Mensah Sarbah hall where students clamored to grab as many bags of "pure water" as they could carry.
Though Delali Brempong, whose face and NDC logo are boldly printed on the sachets, has not revealed why he sent the "goodies" to the campus, it is widely speculated that this was done in a bid to win the votes of students.
The students on the University of Ghana campus are mostly registered voters in the constituency and mark a large person of the electorate for the area.
