Mahama will win by 52% margin- Ben Ephson

Seasoned journalist and pollster Ben Ephson has predicted a sure first round victory for President Mahama in the upcoming December 2016 elections.

According to Mr. Ephson, his latest suggest that the candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win by 52.4% whereas the New Patriotic Party's candidate will swing votes amounting to about 45.9%, leaving the other parties chalking up only about 1.7%.

Poll predictions since May 2016

The publisher of the Daily Dispatch newspaper also stated that, "It is a first round victory for NDC’s John Mahama.” Since May 2016, NDC's John Mahama has led in all six polls conducted.

However President Mahama seems unsatisfied with Ben Ephson's prediction. Addressing a rally in the Western Region early Monday, the President urged his supporters to vote in their numbers so that NDC wins by a wider margin, thus preventing the NPP from heading to court to challenge their victory.
