President John Dramani Mahama has responded to criticism about his plan on developing Ghana's infrastructure.
President Mahama responded to criticism that his plan to develop infrastructure - roads, hospitals, and schools - does not translate into money in the pockets of ordinary Ghanaians, saying that until they fall sick and are in a critical condition, they may not appreciate the importance of good roads and hospitals.
President Mahama was speaking at a rally in Bonsu Nkwanta, in the Western Region, on Sunday. The president said even though he is being criticized for it, his administration will continue to invest in infrastructure development.
President Mahama stated that his administration has commenced a project who's mission it is to establish one hospital of polyclinic in every district, a plan that he intends to continue regardless of the criticism.
