NPP aspiring MP wears Mahama's peace cap to campaign

The New Patriotic Party parliamentary for Effiduase-Asokere in the Ashanti Region Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, is now the viral topic on social media for wearing President Mahama's peace cap while campaigning for peace in the district.

The NPP parliamentary aspirant explained that his wearing an NDC cap was to demonstrate the need for peace in the upcoming December elections.

According to Dr. Afriyie, supporters of the NPP and the NDC must not allow themselves to be manipulated by their political leaders to cause trouble throughout the election period.

He further stated, "I urge all my NDC and NPP brethren to stand up for peace and resist vehemently any attempt for a particular person or party to rig in this expected peaceful and fair election. We should seek a united and stable Ghana after December 7th."

He also used his Facebook page to encourage all his supporters to stand for peace.
