According to Fred Nuamah, wearing short and revealing dresses to the 7th edition of the Ghana Movie Awards event is a no-no.
Mr. Nuamah, the organiser of the award scheme spoke on the Accra-based Hitz FM about the yearly award scheme and the behaviour that would be considered acceptable at the event.
He noted that patrons of the night could buy their own tickets, drive all the way to the venue but should note that they can't wear "whatever pleases" them to the event.
He cautioned prospective patrons of the event to stick to the prescribed dress code for the event.
“The prescribed attire for the awards is tuxedo or black tie for the men and evening/dinner gown for the ladies. No short dresses will be allowed,” he pointed out.
The 7th edition of the Ghana Movie Awards would take place at the Kempinski Hotel, and it seems the organizer is keen on having just a select group of people present at the event.
With this new directive obviously we shouldn't expect the infamous boobshow from Hamamat Montia at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to happen again. But will patrons stick to the directive?
