President John Mahama will open to traffic the 270-meter Kasoa interchange in the Central region.
The commissioning of the $160-million interchange will see the president also wrapping up his two-day campaign tour of the region.
This is expected to reduce vehicular traffic on the Accra-Cape Coast road and also minimize pressure on the N1 Highway.
The Kasoa interchange is fully financed by a loan facility from the Brazillian government with construction done by a Brazilian company Queiroz Galvao.
The commissioning will also see the president open the Kotokuraba market as well as three Community Day Senior High Schools in the region.
