Supreme Court stays Woyome vs Amidu oral examination

The Ghana Supreme Court has stayed the case which former Attorney General (AG), Martin Amidu, petitioned and was a awarded the opportunity to orally examine businessman and NDC financier, Alfred Agbesi Woyome.

Former Attorney General, Martin Amidu, will have to wait till December 15th to know when he'll get a crack at Alfred Agbesi Woyome since the Supreme Court, today, ruled to stay the case involving Martin Amidu's successful petition to orally cross-examine the embattled businessman.

This decision is in response to Alfred Woyome's petition to stay the oral examination.

According to the Supreme Court, which was presided by Justice Enin Yeboah, Woyome’s review application could have a substantial effect on the ongoing case and therefore Aimdu's cross-examination needed to be postponed.
