With just a week to the December 7 general election, the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) is alleging that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is conspiring to disenfranchise electorates who will be casting their ballot in the Ashanti region.
Former deputy minister of the attorney general and minister of justice, Kwame Osei-Prempeh, claims there is a grand conspiracy by members of the ruling party to frustrate Ashanti voters resident in Accra.
”Kwame let me tell you this; the NDC is plotting to hijack the movement of all VIP buses from Accra to Kumasi who will be working on the day of voting with the conviction of preventing people who intend to vote for Nana Addo access to do so” he revealed to Ultimate FM.
Meanwhile, presidential candidates of all the political parties have signed a peace accord ahead of the elections at the Movempick Ambassadors Hotel today.
