Mrs. Akufo-Addo has said that the only way Ghana's future will be secured is if the people of Ghana put their trust in a leadership that is genuinely concerned about the welfare of the people and not delving into the state's funds, which she said the 'incompetent' NDC government could be attributed to.

"… It is not enough to want change, we have to vote for change so on December 7 please go out and vote. Go with your friends, family, neighbours and classmates. The stakes couldn’t be higher. Your vote will change your life for better or worse not just for four years," she said.

She added it was crucial that Ghanaians "vote out corruption, incompetence and bring in good governance, sound economic management, quality education, quality healthcare, jobs and many more” for a ‘new Ghana’.
