Kwabena Agyepong, the suspended General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has donated an amount of GHC 82,000 to support the campaign efforts of the parliamentary candidates of the party in less privileged constituencies.
In December 2015, Mr Kwabena Agyepong was suspended by the NPP indefinitely for engaging in activities unilaterally without consulting with executives of the party.
According to Mr Agyepong, the donation is his own little efforts to support the party to win the December 2016 elections.
The documents above indicate that the constituencies that benefited from this support are in the Northern, Upper West, Upper West and Brong-Ahafo Regions.
While Kwabena Agyapong has been away from the political scene since his suspension, he has stated that his loyalty still remains with the NPP and he will continue to support the party and will do his best to keep the party's dreams alive.
