Close to 16 million eligible Ghanaian voters will be casting their ballot today, December 7. The presidential and parliamentary elections will see polls open across all 28,992 polling stations in the country.

Seven presidential candidates will be battling it out at this year's elections with the battle lines fiercely drawn between NDC's President John Dramani Mahama and NPP's Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.

Hours before the polls open, avid voters have already marked their presence at various polling centers with gallons, stones and other objects.
