The campaign team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has declared itself victors in the 2016 presidential elections, urging president John Mahama to concede defeat.

YEN.com.gh shares with you three reasons why the NPP has called the results ahead of the Electoral commission.

The NPP campaign manager, Peter Mac-Manu shared figures which proved that they have won the election. According to him pink sheets results from 17,559 polling stations indicate Nana Akufo-Addo is in the lead with 55.70% and Mahama with 39.33%

The NPP are rebutting NDC earlier press statement by their campaign manager, Hon. Joyce Mogtari Bawa which stated that they’re in a comfortable lead in most of their elections.

They also believe strongly that they have won the election without an iota of doubt hence the need to tell their supporters about it whiles asking the President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to concede peacefully.
