Minister of foreign affairs and member of parliament for Awutu Senya West, Hanna Tetteh, will not be making it to parliament in 2017.
Provisional parliamentary results coming in from the constituency reveals that Hanna Tetteh garnered 25654 making 49% as against her contender who won by 2886 votes 62.72%.
It has been a bitter campaign for Hanna Tetteh and George Andah in the run up to the elections especially as both parties.
Speaking in an interview with Joy FM, George Andah revealed: " Awutuu West has spoken, they voted massively for change. I'm excited to lead this constituency. It was a tough fight. I knew it wasn't going to be easy".
