Some frustrated members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) who converged at the residence of opposition leader, Nana Addo to celebrate his dominance in the elections have hit the street in protest of result delays.

In an interview with Joy FM, national youth organizer for the NPP, Sammy Awuku revealed that the deliberate delay by the EC to release the results is raising tensions across the country.

Meanwhile, the office of the EC is reported to have been guarded by armed officials of the police service.
