Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), seems to be inching closer to the Flagstaff House in the heated elections.

Provisional results which has seen close to 200 constituencies covered has Nana Addo have a comfortable lead by 52.09% as against President Mahama's 46.03%

So far, both major parties have in separate press briefings declared themselves winner of the 2016 elections with Nana Addo stating to have "won a famous and historic victory".

Meanwhile, the EC boss, Charlotte Osei has argued that there is no need to rush in the declaration of results. Addressing an emergency press brief, the EC boss reveals that her outfit is having challenges with transferring information from their bio-metric devices hence having to resort to a manual system which is causing the delay.
