Since the declaration of Nana Akufo-Addo as the president-elect of Ghana, supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been in celebration mode since Friday.
Some of the celebrations have taken quite the interesting and somewhat awkward turn with the videos and photos that are currently circulating on social media.
Some NPP supporter created mock funerals to 'mourn' the death of President John Mahama and his loss at the 2016 general elections.

The videos show women clad in traditional black funeral cloths surrounding a supposed 'dead form' of Mahama, wailing and crying in mourning.
While some of the women were 'mourning', others sat by silently crying and saying sorrowful words. There were a number of bystanders present in the area watching the spectacle.
On Friday, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was declared the winner of the 2016 general elections, with a 53.4% margin.
