As things turned out, Gambian President Yahya Jammeh lost the election held on December 1st and consequently conceded defeat to Mr. Adama Barrow, his political contender. He later turned around and refused the election results days after, and called for a new election process in a public address on Friday.

Contrary to the Gambian president, President John Mahama conceded as soon as it looked as though the NPP flag-bearer, Nana Akufo Addo, had sealed his victory. He has also begun a transition process to enable the President Elect, Nana Akufo Addo, to takeover affairs seamlessly.
These recent uploads on President Mahama's Instagram account prove just how different the two presidents are, even though they seem to have suffered the same fate at the polls this year.
