It appears Ghanaian singer Mzbel has deleted her official Instagram account following reports of abuse after the party she supported (NDC) lost in the December 7 general elections.
Earlier on, the mother of one unfollowed everyone on her page with the exception of Italian classical singer Adrea Bocelli and also deleted most of her photos. Now the singer has completely gone off the social media page.
Prior to the Ghanaian general elections, the “16 Years” hit maker was one of the most vocal celebrities who had come out to support the NDC and its flagbearer.

In a number of video broadcasts, Mzbel was heard vehemently campaigning against the NPP and boldly said the presidential candidate of the NPP, now president-elect, Nana Addo, was “not presidential material.”
This enraged supporters of the NPP who after their victory, went after the singer physically and on all social media platforms.
She has even been blamed as one of the major reasons why the NDC lost.
This may be a way for Mzbel to avoid the public while trying to put her life back together after the loss of the NDC. What or who will she delete next?
