A group of stuntmen took things to unbelievable extremes when they decided to flip between rocks 1,200 feet above the town of Svolvær, Norway.
24-year-old Jarl Hernes Gåsvær captured this intense footage of his younger brother, Brage who is 18-years-old as he fearlessly flipped on the iconic Svolværgeita, the top of a popular climbing route
According to Brage, he wanted to take things to new levels and felt extreme happiness afterwards:
‘I wanted to do something that hadn’t been done before.‘I asked my brother if he thought it was possible to flip between the two horns at the top, to which he replied ‘if anyone can do it you can’.‘There is an ironically placed graveyard over 350 metres below so I could literally fall to my grave.
‘The plan was to do a test jump before the flip, but as I got to the top and visualised my surroundings, we counted to three and I just did it. ‘We all felt so pumped after I’d done it, there was a moment of extreme happiness.’
Jarl was very proud of his little brother. He said, “I couldn’t believe how well the jump went, the stunt was performed perfectly.”
