The New Patriotic Party is still transitioning to become the government in power following the historic win of the party's presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over the incumbent president and National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama.
The NPP has served notice it will not hesitate to cancel last-minute contract renewals of caterers of the School feeding program in the Eastern region, when the party assumes power on January 7.
The Eastern Regional 1st Vice Chairman of the party, Alhaji Omar Bodinga, explain to journalists from Accra-based radio station, Starr FM, that the NDC was engaged in a rampant extension of contracts with caterers even after the party lost the 2016 elections.

According to him, the move is unacceptable considering the fact that, the caterers are mostly NDC women organizers and party faithful.
He accused the Eastern Regional Minister Mavis Ama Frimpong of engaging in the renewal of the contracts.
Alhaji Omar Bodinga concluded that president-elect Nana Addo will review all contracts of the caterers and will not hesitate to nullify them if need be.
