The British Prime Minister, Madam Theresa May, has sent a congratulatory note to the President Elect, Nana Akufo Addo.

In her note to President Elect, Nana Akufo Addo, the British Prime Minister alludes to the "strong and longstanding" relationship Ghana and Britain shares, including the cooperation on drugs, defense, crime and national security, relationship, she said, she values deeply.
“Alongside our ongoing support to Ghana in areas such as governance, poverty reduction, education and health, I hope that we can look to deepen our economic co-operation.”
Madam Theresa May finishes off by expressing that she looks forward to meeting the President Elect, a meeting she expects to take place upon his first official visit to London.
