Mohammed Aryeetey Okwabi, popularly known for his famous phrase Kpakpakpka has said that though the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had made many impressive developmental projects, they lost the elections due to certain inappropriate decisions they took.
He noted that the cancellation of the nurses and teacher trainee allowance was a major aspect for their defeat, along with the NDC's communication team's inability to pinpoint on the issues that were important to Ghanaian people.
According to him, "The NDC government should have known that whenever you are doing things you need to be focused. Don’t wait until last minute before you start doing the right thing."
He added that the incoming government should avoid the mistakes the old government made, and focus on stabilizing the economy and fixing the problem of inflation.
"The NPP government should have in mind that we the populace have to eat. The NDC government abandoned us. Their focus was all about development projects which did not bring money into our pockets and people were hungry here and there," he said.
