Social media was flooded with people listing the campaign messages by Nana Addo and the New Patriotic Party while playing the sore losers in what has been described as a "historic" election in Ghana.
It seems the messages and general worry has reached the ears of the president-elect.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reassured Ghanaians that he would execute all the promises he made to Ghanaians in the course of his campaign.
He noted that his victory over incumbent President John Mahama in the December 7th presidential poll is a demonstration of the confidence Ghanaians.
Nana Addo promised the people that his government was not going to disappoint Ghanaians after they expressed such confidence in him.
Nana Akufo-Addo made these remarks when he joined hundreds of Ghanaian Muslims for a thanksgiving prayer at the Central Mosque near Abossey Okai in Accra, Friday.
