Celebrated Ghanaian artist/rapper M.anifest responded to questions relating to why he doesn't seem to have any proteges. Or rather, why questions as to why there's 'Eminem' to his 'Dr.Dre'.

Speaking at a press conference accompanied by renowned Nigerian artist, Brymo, and upcoming Ghnaian rapper worlasi, M.anifest explained that according to him, art is a personal journey; one that cannot be taught.

"Artistry is not carpentry", he said, "“Take all the young artistes I meet. I am mostly interested in meeting them because I appreciate what they are doing, and people are in different times of their lives”.

It is no surprise that M.anifest was accompanied by Worlasi during the press conference, since Worlasi is featured in M.anfest's recently released album titled 'Nowhere cool'.

He said: “I’m very willing to share any bits of information I have that might not exist, but there’s no formula for this. They look within themselves and find who they want to be. It’s different with technical advice [but] I’m definitely one who is a great supporter of the young ones who I think need to flourish more and not allow the scene to be stale, because otherwise, the scene will be stale”
