The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has said that the outgoing president John Mahama does not deserve the benevolence of Ghanaians, and described him as a heartless person.
According to him, the Mahama administration was marked by acts of corruption that involved his siblings, along with unreliable contracts that were awarded, with the promise to retrieve the money belonging to the state in the coming days.
Speaking on Oman FM, Kennedy Agyapong said, "I promised I was not going to talk again but I now have to because what is going on in the country involving Mahama and his administration is sad. You need to fear the name Mahama. He is wicked and has collapsed the economy."
He further stated that the contract for the Tema Tolling Booth was awarded to Mahama's sister, and then forewarned that she be ready to give accounts for the funds she received since she was awarded the contract, that he (Kennedy Agyapong) believes was done under sole sourcing.
In the interview, Mr Agyapong thanked Ghanaians for staying quiet while the injustice as ongoing only to release their frustrations later by voting out the Mahama administration.
Kennedy Agyapong also opined that the Chief Directors that rejected new contracts that were supposedly to be signed, which would allow the outgoing executives to steal more funds from the state, to receive a commendation.
