Last Friday, the incoming second lady of Ghana, Samira Bawumia and some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) joined Muslims at the Abosokai central mosque in their Friday prayers to thank Allah for a sound and peaceful victory after the December 7 elections.
As expected, Mrs. Bawumia mingled with the Muslim women who were at the mosque to pray too and a few photos were later shared on her Instagram page.

Among those photos were two which stood out. In one of the photos, the wife of the incoming vice president of Ghana can be seen smiling heartily while sitting with some of the women who joined them in prayer.
Another infectious smile of the Muslim beauty was captured when she hugged a woman after the prayers.
Samira Bawumia has gained a lot of media attention since she stepped into the political limelight due to how beautiful she is being regarded by many.
She was quite a strong voice during the campaign season and received a big appreciation from the president elect, Nana Akufo Addo in his acceptance speech.
Ghanaians await to see how effective and efficient she will be after the party is finally handed power on the 7th of January, 2017.
