Sisters can connect their lives on many levels. They can have the same tastes in fashion, art, study, food, etc. According to some specialists, even their menstrual cycles can synchronize when living together. What did seem impossible was for two sisters to give birth on the same day.
But to prove nothing under the sun is impossible, sisters Yely González, 23 years old, and Estafany González, 22 years old, gave birth to their daughters just 15 minutes apart at the University Hospital of Pennsylvania, USA.
Estafany was expected to give birth several weeks after her sister. But when Yely went into labor, Estafany decided to accompany her and give support. Already in the hospital, Estafany also entered into labor. You can imagine that the mother of the sisters, the future grandma, all of a sudden there wasn’t enough of her to go around. Happily, Yely and Estafany gave birth to two beautiful and healthy girls.
The sisters are very happy to have coincided. Some will call it coincidence, others, connection. What is undeniable is the capacity of these two women to empathize and establish strong emotional bonds between each other.
