The newly elected Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korle constituency, Dr Zanetor Rawlings has said that she is ready to represent her constituency in parliament and ensure that they receive the benefits of development.
Dr Zanetor Rawlings also said that her campaign policies were practicable and she affirmed her dedication to the people who voted her into power, assuring them of working diligently as she represented them in parliament.
"I haven’t made promises that I didn’t intend to keep. I’m just going to keep working diligently. I started this with honesty and commitment and I intend to keep going that way. I am dedicated to what I need to do, do my research to make sure I am standing up for my constituency. I think ones we doing what we do in honesty and in truth I think that’s the best way forward,” she said.
She also promised to use the funds allocated to each member of parliament and their constituency, as well as the resources available to her to ensure the development of her constituency.
Dr Zanetor Rawlings beat three other candidates to win the Klottey-Korle seat in the just ended 2016 general elections.
She was interviewed at the ongoing online registration process for the newly elected members of parliament, which started today Monday, December 19 and will run through to Friday, December 23.
