I have already packed my things out of the office- Speaker of parliament

Hon.Edward Doe Adjaho has asked the outgoing members of parliament to vacate their offices in the Job 600 building before January 6, in order to aid the smooth transition for the incoming MPs-elect for the next government.

The speaker said he had already packed his all his personal items from his office ahead of January 6, to peacefully handover to the Clerk of Parliament.

Speaking at a welcome address to Members in the Chamber of House, he said this would ensure the ease of transition for the new Speaker of Parliament in 2017.

Hon Doe Adjaho also urged the House to speed up the passage of the RTI bill considering the amount of work that was channeled into it before the House went on recess.
