Pastor seriously thrashed after being found with married woman

- A preacher is nursing serious injuries after he was attacked by a mob when he was found in a KPLC employee's house at 3am with the man's wife

- Pastor Sammy Ndwiga of Faith of Miracles church said he was there for prayers, as he usually holds "special nightlong prayers with his faithful"

An evangelical church preacher narrowly escaped lynching after he was found in the house of a Kenya Power employee at 3am, apparently holding night prayers with the man’s wife.

An angry crowd flushed out Pastor Sammy Ndwiga of Faith of Miracles church form the man’s house at Bonanza estate, Embu county and thoroughly beat him up, before administration police officers saved him and the woman in question, reported Daily Nation.

The husband, whose name was not revealed in the report, said he had received news about his wife’s affair with the man of cloth, and had earlier tried unsuccessfully to catch the two together, but was second time lucky.

The man said he locked the house from outside so as to corner the cheaters, but the pastor started praying loudly, ostensibly show he had come in for prayers.

The angry mob that had flushed the clergyman outside the house questioned why he only came for the prayers when the man of the house was away, and he said he had asked the husband but he never welcomed him.

The mother of three defended the situation saying she had a “special need that she wanted the pastor to fulfill through prayers”.

The husband claimed that his wife is a serial cheater who had had affairs with their tenants, and he had even reported the same to police twice.
