Legal practitioner and style icon, Nana Asante Bediatuo has been appointed as the Executive Secretary to the president-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to a report by Accra-based radio station, 3News Nana Asante Bediatuo is currently understudying Ambassador Thomas Kwasi Quartey, the outgoing Executive Secretary to President John Mahama.
Nana Asante Bediatuo will begin his work in January 2017 when Nana Akufo-Addo is inaugurated as the 5th President of the fourth republic.

Sources close to the presidency revealed that Ambassador Quartey is currently taking his successor through the daily routine of the office of Executive Secretary. He will be in charge of drafting Nana Addo’s speeches, receive communications to the President from other heads of states , international organizations and other correspondence.
