The Convention People's Party (CPP) 2016 flag-bearer, Mr. Ivor Greenstreet, has been elected General Secretary of the Ghana Shooting Sports Federation.

Held at the La Beach Hotel, the GSSF polls saw the CPP's 2016 presidential candidate emerge victorious and get elected General Secretary, while the federations Presidency was retained by a Mr. Cillian Walsh, and the position of Treasurer came to Mr. Edmond E. Ani.

Having competed at the International Para Trap Grand Prix shooting competition in Milan, Italy, last October for the Ghana Black Snipers (Ghana's national rifling team), Mr. Greenstreet is also slated to represent Ghana at the maiden edition of the Disabled Para Clay World Club in Italy.

The federation - GSSF - currently holds training sessions at the teshie outdoor military range in Teshie.
