Outgoing Vice President, Mr. Kwesi Amissah Arthur, has said that the National Democratic Congress is only a little crooked, and that once it straightens out a little it will bounce back.

Vice President Amissah Arthur was speaking at the funeral of the National Democratic Congress's Central Regional Director of Elections, Mr. Yaw Asiedu. Mr. Asiedu, who died in a motor vehicle accident that occurred while he was transporting election documentation to Accra last week. The collision occurred in the Apam Winneba stretch of the Cape Coast Accra Highway.
With Mr. Asiedu was accompanied by two others, the NDC's Regional Treasurer, Mr Eric Essuah, and a driver.

Speaking at the event which was attended by scores of party supporters clad in red and black, Vice President Amissah Arthur expressed appreciation at seeing NDC supporters come out in their numbers to mourn, and in solidarity with their colleague.
Vice President Amissah Arthur signed the book of condolences and wrote: “We join the large NDC family to mourn the passing of our comrade Yaw Asiedu, who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our party.”
