We couldn't go out after NDC defeat - Amissah Arthur

The outgoing Vice President of Ghana, Kwesi Bekoe Amissah Arthur has admitted that a lot of members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have not been able to move on from the defeat the party suffered in the general elections on December 7.

‘A lot of NDC supporters have locked themselves up in their rooms because they lack the strength to come out after the party’s defeat,’ he said.

The Vice President made these remarks during the one-week celebration of the demise of the NDC Central Regional Director of Elections in Cape Coast.

Ghanaians had been asking the whereabouts of the Vice President after the elections. He had not been seen anywhere around President Mahama, not even during important moments like his concession speech.
