The spokesperson for the Association of Virgin Pastors has expressed his displeasure at the president-elect Nana Akufo-Addo for failing to acknowledge his contribution to the NPP's victory.
According to the spokesperson, Apostle Job Antwi, when Nana Addo was expressing his gratitude to the men of God who helped him during the December elections, his name was missing from the list.
"I suffered to fast and pray for the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo did not even mention my name. The NPP did not even invite me to their thanksgiving service," he said, lamenting that he, along with his colleagues fasted and prayed for Nana Addo's victory but were ignored when it was time to be acknowledged.
Apostle Job Antwi however stated that he was not surprised, since according to him, it seemed only pastors who lived luxurious lifestyles were deemed fit to attend such national events.
“I really have power from the Lord. I declared Nana Addo the winner with facts and figures unlike other pastors and lame talkers who only professed Nana Addo the winner. I don’t take gifts from people before praying; the gift wasn’t sold to me so I don’t take delight in taking money from people," he said.
