The Archbishop of the Accra Diocese, the very Reverend Gabriel Palmer-Buckle is noted as one of the most respected religious leaders in Ghana due to his witty charm and wisdom.
He is certainly appreciated by the members of the Catholic Church as well as people from other denominations and religious affiliations.
He is known to be very respectful of other religions and treats all people with the same courtesy and respect, which he demonstrated some time ago when he paid a visit to the Chief Imam and joined in a prayer led by the Imam.
He also seems to have a fun side which he demonstrated this Christmas at the 'End of Year' party for the priests and the religious of the Accra Archdiocese, when he stepped out looking full-blown Rastafarian.
In his full get-up, the Archbishop hoped to erase the stereotype that people with dreadlocks or 'Rastafarians' were not only about committing crimes and smoking 'weed'.
