One of the suspects on trial in the murder of J. B. Danquah Adu, Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North, broke into tears in court on Wednesday claiming his innocence of the charges levelled against him.
At the latest court hearing, Vincent Bosso said he could not comprehend why he was being held in custody and transported to court all the time when he was innocent.
Amidst tears, Bosso said, “I am tired of being in custody. It was Daniel Asiedu who went to commit the offence. I don’t know anything about the case.”
This was Bosso’s first statement to the court since his arrest in connection the murder of the legislator. Judge Stephen Owusu entreated Bosso to exercise some patience and have faith that the court processes would exonerate him if he is indeed innocent.
Vincent Bosso is scheduled to return to court on January 17, 2017.
