President elect, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, says Ghanaians should expect prosperity this year as he gets inaugurated on January 7th.
“It’s time that Ghana went to an era of prosperity so that all our people can feel the goodness of this country and that is what hopefully is coming this year. Oneness of purpose; and we are prepared to work hard and lift our country up and bring prosperity to our nation,” he added.
Addressing the media after worshiping at the Accra Ridge church on New Year’s Eve, Nana Akufo Addo says Ghanaians should have a positive working attitude in 2017.
Close to 6000 guests are expected at Nana Addo's inauguration come January 7. Nana Addo won this year's election by 53% percent - making him the only opposition leader to have defeated a sitting president in Ghana's 4th republic.
