The naming of the provisional 26-man squad for the for the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon on Monday has generated a lot of discussions on social media (Facebook and Twitter).
Black Stars coach Avram Grant’s squad for the AFCON 2017 have been questioned by some Ghanaians with many wondering if this the best the country can present for the African Mundial.
As usual, the announcement of the squad came with the perennial brouhaha about who is fit to be in the squad or not.

The tournament kicks off in Gabon on 14 January.
Ghana will be based in Port-Gentil where they will face Mali, Egypt and Uganda in Group D.
