Black Stars coach Avram Grant’s squad for the AFCON 2017 have been questioned by some Ghanaians with many wondering if this the best the country can present for the African Mundial.

As usual, the announcement of the squad came with the perennial brouhaha about who is fit to be in the squad or not.

The tournament kicks off in Gabon on 14 January.

Ghana will be based in Port-Gentil where they will face Mali, Egypt and Uganda in Group D.

The Black Stars' first match will be against Uganda on 17 January.
