Ovation magazine publisher, Dele Momodu, is said to have stormed out of a concert in Nigeria when Davido, who was performing referred to him as “my boy”.
A video of the event showed Davido singing “Mr Dele na my boy, Dele na my boy”.
Immediately Momodu got off his seat and appeared to head for the exit.
Some social media users speculated that Momodu left because he felt Davido disrespected him by calling him “my boy”.
Momodu comes from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria who take respect very seriously.
He has been criticised in Ghana in recent times for campaigning for President John Mahama ahead of the December election.
