President Elect, Nana Akufo Addo, has said that he would welcome the good counsel and prayers of from all Ghanaians in order for him to be the leader that Ghanaians desire.
Nana Akufo Addo made his comments while he was speaking to members of the Banda Community in the Greater Accra Region yesterday, he also expressed that his doors are always open to criticism.
“Where you have pushed me to, what I need from you is your help, prayer and good counsel," he said, speaking in Twi. “When I err, I would require elders like you to correct me…This will help me to be a good leader for Ghana,” Nana Akufo Addo continued.

The President Elect also affirmed his belief that everything happens for the good of those who believe in God, and went on to express his appreciation for the presence of the delegation and wished them a Happy New Year.
Alhaji Mohammed Frimpong, also known as Wangara, who was the spokesperson for the group, said that the residents of Banda, Tain, and Wenchi districts in the Brong Ahafo Region, constituted the main strongholds of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking at the event, Alhaji Mohammed said, "The visit which was also to donate a ram to Nana Addo to assist him feed his numerous visitors was to complete the joy we have all been put into after the great victory.”
