Isaac Osei appointed TOR MD
Mr Isaac Osei, a former chief executive officer (CEO) of the Ghana Cocoa Board and one time Ghana’s high commissioner to the United Kingdom, has been appointed by President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo as the managing director of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), it has been reported.

Osei will begin work on Monday, January 9, according to a report by graphic.com.gh.
The 65-year-old former Member of Parliament for Subin Constituency has been holding transition talks with current TOR MD, Kwame Awuah Darko, the report said.
Osei previously worked on a number of projects for the World Bank, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the UK Department for International Development (DFID).
Earlier today, Akufo-Addo Nana appointed Frema Opare as chief of staff to the president; Nana Bediako as executive secretary to the president; Laud Commey as head of operations at the Flagstaff House; and Abu Jinapor as the deputy chief of staff.
The flurry of appointments come as Akufo-Addo is set to take office on January 7.
