President Mahama's final state of the nation address has been made.
The president, addressing the last parliament before his exit in January 7 also took some time to call on Ghanaians to rally behind the incoming president-elect, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.
After Mahama's speech, there were off camera congratulatory messages by statesmen to the president but the one that stood out was that of the outgoing speaker of parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho.
Edward Doe Adjaho in a short congratulatory message to Mahama said "Congratulations, we are proud of you". It remains unknown what the exiting speaker of parliament meant by "we" but it does seem to mean that he was referring to the NDC party as a whole.
