No one at his moment in Ghana is as eager as the New Patriotic Party, to take back the power they lost in 2008 on Saturday, January 7 2017 at the official inauguration and presidential handing over ceremony to be held at the Black Star square in Accra central.
Photos surfacing online show that NPP members themselves are on ground to make sure that everything is set for the big day where they will be officially given the mandate to govern Ghana and hopefully steer it to a better state than it currently finds itself.
Ace broadcaster and communicator Kwame Sefa Kayi who is being rumoured to have plans of leaving his current job as Peace FM's morning show host for a bigger communications job at the presidency was spotted at the venue for the inauguration.
Mr. Sefa Kayi seemed to be busily discussing business with two other people and looked dressed to physically get his dirty if need be, to get things in place before Saturday.
A crane was also spotted with a couple of men seen on it working.
A number of sheds and tents are being erected to cater for the special guests that will be in attendance. Reports have it that several heads of States, diplomats and high ranking dignitaries from several countries will be attending Saturday's event.
This is how the Black Star Square looks currently.
Podiums and stages are being mounted to make access easier.
The whole venue has been thoroughly cleaned as many NPP members help in the preparations.
What are your impressions on the progress so far?
